Yesterday at Hull was what away days were made for. Glorious sunny day, great laugh with friends and family, good beer, nice food and a late Rams winner to round off proceedings.

A new season is upon us again and what a summer it’s been for Derby County.
Starting with the shock departure of Gary Rowett and pronouncements of extreme austerity measures to offset imminent financial meltdown, we begin the season with Frank Lampard as our gaffer and The Super Rams all over the transfer market like its 2015 all over again!

Yesterday I went to see The Rams at Notts County in the first pre season friendly of 2018/2019 season and, of course, the first of the Frank Lampard era.

Not more than a month ago, the Rams were 45 minutes from a date at Wembley and another golden shot at the Premier League.
